If we hadn’t tried it and liked it we wouldn’t have done the ad read, but I know how it sounded to some listeners. FWIW, we don’t have any more ads planned for the show at this time. Instead, we’re going to announce our plans for Patreon tomorrow and see if that can let us get by without having to consider sponsors. We’ll see how it goes!

Faithful listener for years, listened to the whole back catalog. Today I heard a live ad read for a "brain supplement," no different than the kind that the right wing assholes run on their shows. Extremely disappointed, unsubscribing forever. Do better.
